so im putting a 97 magnum 360 in my a-100 using the edelbrock rpm airgap intake.. i need a thermostat housing edelbrock says to use that 6inch tall one that the magnum used originally... there has to be a better option.. i was looking at the thermostat housing for the 79 up small block and...

i use the rj14yc (63) champions in my older big blocks but since yours sounds like its had a refresh i would say the 12s are good... ive never used the acdelcos in any mopars but i know they work good in gms i agree on the splitfire but i would like to elaborate... those are the worst plug ever...

X2 i had the same problem i went to a heavier spring in the dist and it made a world of difference

I agree zinc is the key to making any flat tappet cam survive a break-in, also as stated above make sure your only using the outer valve spring for the break in..

i use the bellhousing bolts also. i just got some grade 8 3/8-16 bolts (cant remember the length sorry) from the hardware store.. put some wheel bearing grease on the tube before you install it to the stand and it will turn over pretty easy with the rotating bar. i do usually have a helper...

THANKS! im not sure yet either, i just know i was conversing with some of the guys in my mopar club and he stated that he was tring to put the earlier water pump setup on a magnum engine and he couldnt get the bypass to work ( it seems ridicolus to me that he couldnt figure something out, so i...

then what intake did you use.... i have the early (1970) timing cover and water pump, the issue is where the bypass from the edelbrock intake comes out is not the same as my old (non magnum) intake.. thanks

i looked through most of the pages and didnt see an answer, so here i am if this has been answered before i apologize.. i have a 1997 360 that i am installing in a 1970 a-100.. the a100 is a 318 truck so i am planning on using the 727 thats already in it.. the 360 has the edelbrock carbd...

neutral safety switch hooked up?? try jumping the solenoid with a screwdriver ...

all i know is for a stock small block this cam worked best for me, ive used alot of cams that sucked (mainly purple shafts)... about the 2.76 gear ?? i dont know you may be better of changing gears and leaving the cam alone?

Crane makes original muscle car cams.. i used their original 340 cam in my all stock 74 318 that is in my challenger and it rocks. stock converter, 904 ,3.21 gears, hooker comp headers, 2bbl intake. every time i run someone on the street they are amazed that its a 318 (most dont believe me) 2cents
