Remove the regulator....most decent DA's have a speed control (or regulator) on them. Adjust for smooth operation with the hose size and length that you are using. No need to spin at high speed.

Ok I can work with it then. It's a new glass hood just sitting in the opening, I didn't have an original steel one to compare size to make sure it's not over or undersize. Thanks guys for measuring.
