67 - 68 Barracuda hood measurment

Looking for the width measurement of a steel hood just in front of the cowl panel.
I want to confirm my glass hood.

I get 59 1/8", yours looks pretty right on the $$$

try centering it up w/ ice cream sticks (shims) to get it where u like it before doing any drilling or mounting. Mine came out about perfect. Yours looks like it needs to go to the pass side a hair, the back gap has an angle to it, not to mention the big gap on the side.

Mine is right at 59.0" with the tape hugging the curve of the hood.

Ok I can work with it then. It's a new glass hood just sitting in the opening, I didn't have an original steel one to compare size to make sure it's not over or undersize.
