    just installed flow tech long headers in 1973 dodge dart swinger

    I didnt have any trouble with the flow techs on my dart, the fit was good with no dents. Have a mini starter and a 4 speed. The coating is shity already starting to surface rust between 3 and 5 cylinders. Mike IMG]http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg316/5258performance/328pics005.jpg[/IMG]

    Surface rust on ceramic header flanges..

    They are flowtech headers. I will try the mothers this weekend. Its not bad I just do not want it to get worse. pntastar69 the car is stored in my enclosed trailor so do direct contact to ground. I actually thought that would be better but I guess not. I will post before and after pics...

    Surface rust on ceramic header flanges..

    Pulled the cover back on the Dart yesterday and noticed the cermaic headers have slight surface rust on flange machined lip and between some of the tubes on passenger side. What is the best way to remove this w/o removing and recoating headers? 0000 steel wool? also has anyone ever touched up...

    FlowTech Headers

    I have the ceramic coated flow techs on my 69 Dart small block, No issues with them, installed from the bottom up with the T bars out, did not have to raise the motor. So far no issues. The collector flange could have been thicker is my only complaint. Mike..
