Why would you want to? I'd tade our swapped in 318 we have presently for the original 273 anyday! But on the otherhand I am kinda old, slow, not too bright, and like things stock! Don't listen to me just rambling drinking coffee readin the morning FABO! Good luck with your project!8)

We have a 4bbl stock manifold on it now, with a new eb1406. Pnly took on 1 test drive and blew the mount. It's the wifes 67 and is down right now anyway, I might as well put it on and try it?!! Right after I get this damn 64 273 oiling properly!!

I had picked this up for $50.00 back when I had a job. Just was wondering if I should go ahead and put on or stock 318. We just put on Eb 1406 600cfm on it and thought we should maybe use it. Funny thing is I think I remember when these first came out!

Does anyone know if this old manifold would be an improvement with stock 318 with Edelbrock 1460 carb? Please advise.........Thanks!

Hey thanks 1qwikscamp! I just ordered 2 of the same drivers side mounts. That will give me an extra & they are lifetime garantee. I'll make em wish they didn't garantee! Do you have any more thoughts on the broken mounts every 6 months? Were the engine numbers referenced above still add up...

Back in the day we would even run a 1' to 3' section of 4" bus pipe off our header collectors to crate cooling vacume chamber then chokes down to size of exhaust! I know, there was no technology then. I miss those days!

Our 67 Dart has a 1970 318 that runs like a scalded dog, that someone else installed. #GM 318 R. Does anyone have any insight on the stamped numbers on the block? Was this a special engine from 1970?
