Well, its only 1.5 volts (shouldn’t hurt anything), so try both violet and green... one should work. Black will be ground(-) regardless.

Test the tach with a "D" size battery...take yellow wire and touch "+" side of D-cell battery, take black wire and connect to "-" side of D-cell battery, needle should move to around 2,000 RPM and hold steady...if it does not move, it's dead

Yes...that's the piece that goes from the pass kick panel, under the carpet to the console itself. The other harness runs from near the steering column along the lower dash frame to the pass kickpanel area, and plugs into this harness.

Correct...the wood wheel is the same for all applications that used that wheel....just change the horn button and retainer for different cars.

Didn't B'cuda's have the tach in the dash cluster?

No worries....do you have the spacer/pedestal thats needed for mounting one of these to an A body console?

Actually, the woodgrain top was only correct for '69-up. '66-'68 was silver painted with chrome and black accents. All the console frame's are pretty much the same, except the 4 speed version, for '66-'76. Dart and Barracuda used the same console. Good price!
