    What's the difference?

Sorry no help here, just wanted to let you know someone is reading your post ! You may want to consider having yours redone, there is an outfit that recovers dash pads using a vacuum applied method, called just dashes. Maybe they might be less expensive ? A body pads are pretty simply shaped, so...

Anyone ever done one before ? I am considering it - either that or a leather wheel wrap. School me on the options !

    Interior rain seal question

I make my own plastic shields from clear plastic, use fairly heavy gauge material. Last set I made were from left over shipping plastic from some mattresses we bought. Stuff was nice and heavy. Use your door trim panels as a guide, trace around them on the plastic, then cut about 1/2" smaller...

Headliner 73 Dart Sport the 1 piece one?

The kit I ordered was from legendary, it included the bows, fabric, and rods etc the whole mess. I seem to remember it being around 150-200$ for the whole thing but that was 8 years ago too, prices probably went up since then.

Headliner 73 Dart Sport the 1 piece one?

I put a retro fit bow/fabric type in my 73 sport. It worked out nicely. You just need to be careful, take your time, and think about what you are doing as you proceed with the work.

Trunk carpet for Gold Duster ??

Try an upholstery shop for the black flexible stuff. The interior colored material I bought from legendary after getting samples and matching it to my interior. I cut the pieces for the seat back and had it bound at a carpet store, and then attached it myself.

    Help

Any console from 66-76 will fit. The chromed trim top pieces are different on the earlier cars, they are painted silver with a black stripe down the middle the later cars used a woodgrained top that was actually a vinyl decal which is being repopped. The tops are interchangeable as well.

    Bucket seat track/rails

I'm not aware of replacement repair parts for the tracks. Maybe someone else will post that knows differently. The only way I know of - is to get good used replacement track assemblies. I do not think bench seat tracks will work. On a bench seat there are two tracks, on buckets there are two...

    Duster rear armrests

Ive seen dusters and dart sports built that way with the folding rear seat. Mine is. It might be a trim level deal possibly, for a fixed rear seat, low level trim cars didn't get rear arm rests ? Is your's a folding rear seat ?

    door panels

I'd guess you can make your own. Match the masonite pattern from the old ones, and make sure to copy the rectangular holes in them as well for the spring clips used to hold the panel on. Then once fitted then buy some thin 1/4" or so sheet upholstery grade foam, cut to fit the shape of the...

    73-76 Duster/Sport folding seat conversion??

My 73 was built with the folding seat. Its not an easy conversion from a stock seat from what I would guess. It needs special side brackets for the folding seat, catches, side trim panels, special trim that covers the wheel houses, not to mention the seats, the package tray sheet metal, the...

    plastic behind door panels

3M spray contact adhesive is pretty easy to use for this as well. Cut your plastic to match the outline of the trim panel and make it a little smaller. spray the adhesive on the back of the plastic and and some on the door surface, make sure to have the windows all the way up to avoid overspray...

Resetting an odometer to zero miles

Not too hard to reset one - just dis-assemble the odometer portion and play with the numbers until you figure out how it works. Once reset, install it and check it to make sure it works by spinning the input of the speedo.

    rear fold down seat

I have a 73 340 dart sport originally fitted with the fold down seat. I dont recommend trying to finish the install unless all the brackets and the package tray have been modified/installed. It would be easier to install the original standard rear seat in my opinion. Otherwise, if all the...

    Taking Out The Dash

I'd pull it, you will regret not doing it while the front glass is out, especially if the dash frame needs it. Ask yourself - what is the one thing you always look at when seated in the car, the dash and the front glass. Its too easy - especially if the windshield is out. Unless the car...

Is there a good Dye for Seat Belts?

What year car ? I assume an early A since seatbelts were optional back then. Look from the underside of the car - you should be able to locate the seat belt mounting holes, they'll be a nut welded to a flat plate of steel about 2 inches square or so. Use an awl and push it through the padding...

    Bucket Seat compatibility

The shape of the buckets WILL be different, the 75 will have high backs. The mountings (floor brackets) should be fairly similar. You might see some difference on the passenger side on the 75 due to the catalytic converter being under that immediate area under the floor. The floor may be bumped...

    Heater/Defroster Ducts

My first choice is used parts from a swap meet or junkyard. Second choice would somebody like Dante's or one of the other resto suppliers. You might be able to adapt other hoses from non mopar brands but I dont know which or what make to use. Normally the defrost vents on the heater box are...
