Marriot Denver west, anybody register for racing season? At least we're getting close! If you don't drag race, maybe try it this year. Club Clash is all about fun, not too much nonsense. 10.50 breakout, mostly street cars.

In the Denver area I have recommended Steer & Stop, 303-781-1098. They don't mind the older cars.

Just got the engine back in the car after having to replace bearings and oil pump due to crank thrust bearing failure. Hopefully I can shake it down before June 3rd but at least its running again.

Hey Jaws-she's running 11.90's now, and yes there is supposed to be a footbrake race going on at the same time. All the better to take out some brand x cars!

Sorry it took me so long jaws, my computer at home is down. I am building a 408 for the Dart and waiting for some parts and it won't be done for a month or so. Hope to see you on the 15th.

Going again this year. Taking the pickup in case I find something I can't live without. Anyone from around here going? It has been a good show in years past, always gets me pumped for spring and summer here.

Check ebay also, I wound up buying a c body 8-3/4 and having it narrowed to fit mine. $$$$ so I wouldn't recommend doing it that way. A body 8-3/4's are like hen's teeth around here, but I will ask around for you.

I hung out a little in the Kings lot and walked up and down both sides of the road. My brother in law had his 63 belvedere there and a friend had a nice 73 trans am there as well.

jaws, I saw that cuda cruisin' around. Very nice! Definitely were some awesome cars there, I liked the gathering of restored woodies in the kings parking lot.

I have been to the last 2 and there are at least 1000 cars at each. Everybody behaves themselves(no burnouts, etc) and they cruise up old Golden rd to downtown and back to the Sonic. The cops have been ok. The businesses next to King Soopers are getting a little pissy about everybody taking over...

Last cruise night in Golden is Saturday Oct 3rd. Last month I saw a cool 64 dart set up like a g machine, as well as quite a few a bodies. These cruises have a good mopar presence.

The Mopar pro stocks did awesome, with Allen Johnson taking the Wally. Mopar had a presence there with some cool cars and Jeeps. I hope they don't throw in on drag race support.
