I ended up sand blasting mine and giving them a coat of zinc to get extra life out of them , they were rusted but salvageable at least. 67 ones are different again and obsolete.

Best ones to use are these MDI Torsion Bar Boot tough but flexible enough to slip on 30 seconds a side . Ive used all the others mentioned and they have torn, tried all the tricks mentioned here, there's no give in that rubber they make them from, found these local.
