You need a drop base only I have a 3/4 spacer with a 3 inch filter no issues . Your base must be flat that’s why you haven’t got room.

You are right with those Lokars that’s why I ended up going full manual I just couldn’t get the kick down to operate properly with the sniper and with the kd connected wouldn’t allow full throttle. Those sniper throttle linkage are based around the Chevy kd . real pain in the arse.
