QA 1 tubular K frame and a hemi

Not to change subject. I am curious about disc brakes and solid rotors. They don't really look like street rotors, look more like drag only rotors. Just wondered. Good luck with the build.

    Flaming river rack and pinion?

From the looks of it you need to take it apart and cut some of the threaded rod coming out of the rack. This will give you the adjustment you need. Don't get carried away!

    Flaming river rack and pinion?

Pics of exactly what you have would be helpful. Did you buy complete set up from FR or are you trying to make other parts work with it. You are more than likely going to have to do some fab work to make it work.

Oh boy her A arm mount is rotted.....

So your talking upper A arm and mount. More than likely you will have to replace frame rail from bumper to transmission x member. Might be good time to look at aftermarket k frame and coil overs. A good welder may be able to cut a section from another frame and weld it in. Depends how bad frame...

What Tools are needed for Suspension work?

Whole lot of patience and rust buster lube. Worst thing I have found with classic Mopars is upper control arm adjusters and bushings. Sometime you need small torch to heat thing to break them loose. Good jack and stands and be safe.

    68 cuda pitman arm removal

Did you use a pitman arm puller or just a two jaw puller? It make a big difference. Spray some blaster on splines and let it soak then use pitman arm puller and a stout impact wrench. Should come right off.

You need to pull it apart and inspect the bearings and races. If a bearing fails it will destroy the spindle and drum. If it fails at speed could be ugly!

Bolt in Harness Bar don't do it!!!

Hey it's your car do what makes you happy. I sure the bar and harness are not DOT approved for street driven car. You should drive it over and show it too your insurance agent. I have a feeling he would cancel your insurance on the spot. Take it by the highway patrol station and ask their...

    Repacking front wheel bearings

Removing it is easy after you remove the outer bearing. Leave drum or rotor on the car and put the nut back on a few turns. Carefully pull the drum toward you and don't scratch the outer bearing surface then give it a good snatch and it will pull bearing and seal. May take a couple times to get...

    Junk or save

I bought this on ebay several months ago and did not look it over real good. :banghead: I planned on using it my 67 cuda. Looks like the strut rod has been pulled through it. Is it worth trying to save it or should I cut off idler bracket and use it on the 67 k-frame? I also have a 75 6 cylinder...

    front end alignment problems.

You say you are running edelbrock struts. Why are you running struts on torsion bar suspension? I would take a tape measure to frame k member, spindle to rear axle center and really inspect every thing. Sounds like its been punched in face some time in its life and LC is bent. Take hard look at...

Is there a way to tighten a new power steering gear box.

Maybe you might want to think about resealing the old one. The one you are calling the new one is used I take it and might just be flat wore out. You can try the sector shaft adjuster on top but don't get carried with it.
