I believe the mega shifter has a stop screw that if in, will lock you out of the fourth position, so you can use it on a "3 speed AOD". If you take the screw out, you could inadvertently try to push the selector lever passed first.

I installed a toggle switch and can feel the converter lock up when I flip it, so power is getting down there. This should mean that either the OD pressure switch is bad or something in the tranny is, correct?

How much is a good 904 tranny worth. I pulled mine out of my car which ran great, to put a 518 in and i will be selling the 904 at a swap meet this weekend and was wondering what it would be worth to someone?

just picked up my tranny on Friday, looking to do most of the work this weekend! I did not realize the 518 is 7" longer than a 904. Will a 727 yoke fit the 518??? Also i have a 73-74 360 and was wondering if the flex plate was irregular or regular??? thanks! Grant

they are going to supply the core. That is a total rebuild. My dad has dealt with them before and they have really good customer service. He took his 700r4 back to them a few times to fine tune it to his specifications and they never charged him after the initial cost of the rebuild.
