    T5 WC behind a 340

So I've been doing some research and reading all the old threads about putting a Foxbody T5 WC behind a Mopar. I know some people will say its not worth it and it wont hold up but thats fine. If I blow it up, I'll rebuild it or get one of the Z spec tranys from summit. For the people that...

Anyone running a hydraulic clutch with their 833?

Has anyone done this with power brakes? Does the booster get in the way of the clutch master cylinder without relocating it?

    74 Duster 904 to 833 conversion.

The crossmember should be the same, the driveshaft will work but you'll have to change the slip yoke for the trany to a 727 one if you have the 8 3/4 rear end. I think the smaller axles had a different length driveshaft. 130 tooth flywheel with 10.5" clutch

    Hydraulic Clutch With Power Brakes?

I have seen many pictures on the posts about the hydraulic clutch setups but everyone I have seen has had manual brakes. Has anyone done this setup with the power brake booster and did you have to use a remote reservoir? Before I start gathering parts I'm trying to figure out if there's room for...

Found a 73 doner, now will it work!?

Yes, thanks! I dont really want to cut my auto one up but i've heard of ppl doing it. If i have to for now ill just put a shifter boot right on the floor until i come across a console. Not the end of the world

    Pilot bushing install

What is the shaft diamater? This bushing (Napa part #615-1033) is .751 ID and .915 OD. Most likely that will fit in a .904 hole but is this the correct size ID for the shaft of the 4sp? I am doing the same conversion but dont have the trany yet. Just doin the research.

Found a 73 doner, now will it work!?

Also why do you need that new floor tunnel? Why cant you just cut a hole in the existing floor if your going to have a console? Wont it be hidden? Or is it for linkage clearance issues?

    Borg and Beck vs Diaphram

I was just going to use a 10.5 McLeod or Zoom clutch with the Billet Ram flywheel. Is the McLeod worth getting for the extra $40 or is it just a name to pay for?

    Borg and Beck vs Diaphram

This may be a silly question but on summit a RAM automotive flywheel for my 340 is saying the application is for a Borg and Beck style clutch.... now I didnt think that it mattered which style clutch it was for the flywheel because the clutch disk/friction disk itself it whats touching the...

    4spd v 4spd O/D

Mostly street, i have 391 gears and a 470/470 270/270 cam. Its plenty torquey so it should be alright? I dont know what I will be doing for highway but most definitely more highway use than the strip.

    4spd v 4spd O/D

Interesting, because i can get a 4speed O/D with the bell house and all linkage and pedals and driveshaft for 450-500 but then i have to buy a flywheel and clutch and not sure if shifter is included and its actually missing on part of the linkage. Then i have to buy the new hump and make the...

    Hydraulic Clutch

Did anyone do this with power brakes? Would the booster get in the way of the master cylinder for the clutch?

    4spd v 4spd O/D

Which is better/stronger? Is it worth paying the extra for the O/D? I keep reading about people stripping their O/D trany's and putting regular 4spd gearing in them. Lets hear your opinions

Found a 73 doner, now will it work!?

Also why is it that if the engine is internally balanced there is still a harmonic balancer in the front? Just trying to figure things out for the flywheel

Found a 73 doner, now will it work!?

Alright thanks, so i will need a bell housing and cut the floor section out. Linkage and clutch forks and everything else is good tho?

Found a 73 doner, now will it work!?

I have been wanting to convert my 70 Duster 340 center console shift to a 4 speed and I happen to have just found a 73 /6 with a 4 speed. Will the belhouse, linkage, driveshaft etc. work in my car? Are all the holes there to put the pedals in? I have heard that you need to add a "hump" for the...
