    While holding the screw, tighten down the nut with a wrench so it's snugged up, then torque nut to specs as adjustment screw movement would be very minimal.

    Just make sure that the speedometer pinion housing is clocked properly in the tailshaft for the corresponding gear number that is installed.

    Trailbeast is correct.it would just be like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound. There shouldn't be trans fluid in your speedometer cable . I posted a link in my previous post!
