i went with the Link G4+ Storm, love the tune ability. like the Fitech. guys are making great hp with these. a lot cheaper option than what i went for. have to agree with others that the plug looks more beaten than burnt.

i feel for ya man, been there done that. mine was #8 that got ate up from detonation. rebuilt and changed from bt and msd 6530 to full on efi.

how well does it work ? the pic below tells my story. the damage was due to the WM failing due to electrical fault during a pull on the dyno at wot. damage was done before the tuner could react. was a degree of ring butt in the mix. started puking smoke out the breathers. hurt like hell to see...

275/60/15 and 3.5 gears, sits just under 3k at 60mph. i can deal with that and the best part is not having to swap centers for the strip. i run a 9".

use a good aluminum head, indy, edelbrock, or what ever. worth 1 point on CR

kind of look a lot like powerdyne. i'd spend the extra coin and get a proven set up.

4.36"x.006"=.02616" top ring and put second ring at .028" even a little more on both won't hurt. if block hard filled x .00675" my bore is 4.040" and gapped rings at .027" top and .029" second ring. my block is 2/3 filled

mine is a 410 sb with S475 turbo and top ring is 027" and second ring 029". my block is 2/3 filled so a little extra was added. followed manufacturers recommendations .

it was mentioned in a thread on a brand x forum that you use standard oil pump not HV on boosted engines. mine is HV in a 360/410 stroker S475. all seems good. just curious if there is any truth to this, or just brand x paranoia.

have ordered a 24x12x4 ic.

good reading...explains things very well. my piping is 3.5" but the in/out on my existing ic is 3". a restriction right there. the piping flows well so don't see there being much pressure drop there. was looking to increase the depth of the 24x12x3 core to 4" and increase the in/out to 3.5".
