    External Oil System

Thanks for all the info guys. 440dartsport, looks like it exists to the front. I was looking at pump covers only from Milodon and might be able to get the 21215 to fit. If it fits I'd need a hose and pickup and I'm there. Although the Milodon 21001 might fit as I moched up a bare...

    External Oil System

Guys, I am looking to go external pick on my 71 Duster. I have a slant six k frame and use schumaker mounts. I am also using a melling deep rotor oil pump. I've seen different oil covers with different locations for the hose that goes to the external pick up. I also have a 440 source 7...

    Oil Pans

Guys, I'm looking for a good high capacity oil pan with internal pickup for my 440 71 Duster. I'd like at least 6qt and no deeper than 7 inches, perferably shorter. I've looked into the milodon 31580‏ and was wondering if you guys had any other input good or bad on this or any other pan...

    440 in my 66 cuda

Yeah, My brother bought a set of tubular control arms from Magnum Farce, I mean force, and they wouldn't fit. They were about 1/2 inch too wide. So, he called them up and they said that he would have to break out his grinder and make them fit! There reasoning was that the cars built back...

    440 in my 66 cuda

It wasn't too hard to change them because there were no inner fenders in the way. Don't know if the Schumaker headers would work...I guess you could try.

Swapping a small block to big block...who's done it?

If you're worried about hood clearance with a good aftermarket alum intake, I found that the Edlebrock TM7 is just what the doctor ordered!

    440 in my 66 cuda

Sorry can't remember exactly the size of tire. They were 14 x 3.5 centerlines wheels and I'd like to say the were about 26 inches tall...

    440 in my 66 cuda

I put a 440 in my 66 Cuda back about 9 years ago...car's gone now. When I bought the car it didn't have inner fenderwells, so I didn't care too much about using a set of fenderwell headers that I had sitting around. I also used elephant ears for the motor mount. The car was originally a...

    Fenderwell's, or under chassi

I have had Schumaker, CPPA, and fenderwell headers on Darts, Barracudas and currently my Duster. I had some problems with tire clearance like many have pointed out with FWs. And, watch out for those speed bumps. They rattled on the floor board or master cylinder when the car was idling...

    fender headers

Homeboy, I have had a number big block A bodies, all 440s and have never had any problems with structure issues. That being said.... You will tweak the frame even if you dont use fenderwell and don't reinforce the unibody. Common sense says that if you pick the front wheels up off...

Swapping a small block to big block...who's done it?

You mention that you would like your car to handle? Well, I have installed a few 440's into A bodies for a number of years and found that these cars are front heavy. Sure, you can lighten up the front end by using fiberglass fenders, hood, bumpers....etc. Even going to aluminum heads and...
