    73+ sway bar question

Although the bracket mounting holes are there, you may not have the brackets on the lower control arms. I put a Helwig tubular front sway bar on my 73 Swinger. Was pretty straight forward. I had to mount one bracket on my lower control arm (left arm had the factory bracket already). Makes...

    SS Springs

I just got done adding blocks between the axle and the springs; since the axle sits on top of the spring it lowered the rear end. There is no more than 1/4" in height difference at the rear and as an added benefit my Dart is level now front to rear. I am not a fan of the "raised" rear end...

    SS Springs

Still, my question is if I turn the bottom leaf around on the left side towards the front would that level the ride height? P/Ns are P4120864 and P4120863

    SS Springs

    What diameter torsion bars?

I have .870 torsion bars on my 73 Swinger (340, P/S). I also have SS rear springs and new KYB gas shocks. The ride is not soft but it was leaning to much during cornering. I installed a Helwig front tubular sway bar which improved the handling greatly. I didn't see a need for a rear sway...

    super stock springs

I have set of those on my 73 Dart Swinger, same P/N as you mention on both sides (numbers are still on the sticker). Doesn't raise the rear end, car sits level. They give you a pretty stiff ride ( I have KYB gas shocks). Hope this helps.
