Thanks. I have some panels to hide the big cutouts from the old headers too.

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Painted, reassembled and broke in the cam, it was a LONG day, and of course my timing cover is gushing oil, so I'll get tear it all apart again!

    AFTERMARKET SHIFTER HANDLES

Brewers bought Gunslingers and no longer sells that adapter. However, if you contact them, they will send you pictures of it next to a tape measure to figure out how to make your own. I might still have the pictures on my phone somewhere, but I ended up getting an A body console shifter, so...

2017 ram 2500 broken manifold bolts

Manifold bolts are easy to get to. Even when needing to weld a nut to the broken piece to get it out, there's plenty of room. The driver side is a little tougher because of the steering column and dipstick tube, but really not bad. Check the joint in front of your muffler, every person I...

2017 ram 2500 broken manifold bolts

I've got a buddy with a newer Power Wagon. Bad *** truck, but he says he averages about 11 mpg, around town its closer to 8. I'll stick with my 5.7 for now, although it needs more power in the 3500rpm range. I tow my camper a TON with mine, and it really struggles getting up to highway speeds.

2017 ram 2500 broken manifold bolts

Yours is the 6.4? I haven't heard as many issue with them have this problem, but obviously it happens. The access on the half ton isn't bad. I go through the wheel well. About 2 hours for the driver side and slightly less for the passenger.

2017 ram 2500 broken manifold bolts

I'm on the 4th set of bolts on my driver side and 3rd set on my passenger side. The passenger side was warped so bad, the downpipe was about 1/2" out of position when I put it all back together. Supposedly if you take your warped manifolds and have them machined flat, then reinstall them...

What are these markings ? (2017 ram)

FYI - Holley has thier MSD plugs for the Hemi in the clearance section on their website for ~$2 a plug. I grabbed a set of 16 for $32 and some change. Much better than the $260 I paid at Advance Auto for a set of 16 last summer when I replaced them.

20 Inch Rims on a Dart: Check it out

I don't mind them, they fit the styling of the car. but really, it was his car and his money he spent, so I don't care one bit was wheels he has.

Everything but paint really, but that's only because it didn't need it, I've painted previous vehicles.

Awesome A-body air dam for under $30!

They are Race Deck tiles, I've had them about 7 years now. The solid tiles hold up good, a lot have burn holes/marks from welding and heavy grinding. Jacks and jack stands don't damage them any. On the other side of the garage I have their free flow vented tiles, when I use jack stands under...

Awesome A-body air dam for under $30!

I tossed it on real quick to get an idea of what it would look like. Garage is too small for a decent picture, but I think I like it. Needs a little minor trimming in the middle to fit nice and tight, might be able to get to it this weekend.

If they are doing business on Instagram, I would say there is a pretty high chance they are scamming you.

    Center Console Trim?

I also used velcro on mine, it comes in handy for sure. I need to 're-stick' the piece at the front, the velcro has trouble sticking to the backside of the carpet in that area for some reason. str12-340, that's the cleanest install I have seen of the console carpet. I might take mine back...

    C'mon man

The coupler at the steering box can be stubborn to remove and reinstall, but the column comes out pretty easy. Pound out the pin between the coupler and the box, and then the 3 bolts inside the car at the firewall, then the 3 bolts up by the dash then the two electrical connectors and it...

    C'mon man

My car was originally a 3 speed floor shift and the previous owner put in a 727 but left the manual trans floor hump in the car. Oh the travesty of not finishing the job and replace the floor.

I'm currently doing this swap. I got the trans, shifter (no rods or handle) and pedals for $900 locally. Add in the shift rods, clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, linkages, shifter handle, shifter rebuild parts, driveshaft, inspection cover, hardware and other small stuff... I'm well over $3k...

Tires for 14 RAM Big Horn - 275/60/R20

My last few sets have been Coopers on my 15 Ram. Been happy with them, their snow performance really seems to drop off at about 50% life though. They have a higher load rating than most in that size which I look for since I put a ton of miles on towing.

    72 duster taillight problem

I agree, I've been watching for a set of spare tail lamps for mine for years, just to have in case I need them in the future. When they do pop up, which is rarely, they are usually pretty rough and super expensive.

Some people just shouldn't own a mopar

I'm confused, why shouldn't he own a Mopar? Looked like he was enjoying his car to me, and it still worked when he was done with it.

    MoPars Left For Dead

Are these the cars from that story a few years back, the guy had a ton of cars in his yard, and some neighbor caught a glimpse through the trees and went to the township over it and they gave him X amount of time to clean them all out? (Vague story, but it's all I remember)

Poll on are you running Stock or Modified engines

Mine has a slightly modified 440. Most of the parts in it, other than the pistons, are stock, just not necessarily from the same year, and the heads/intake have been ported.
