    New fuel gauge sender option

Agreed. It says it uses Lidar, you must program the depth of your tank into it and then it measures how far down the gas is. I have a Tanks Inc replacement tank, which many people do and this would bolt right onto that tank in the same place as their sender does. I had purchased their...

    New fuel gauge sender option

I just came across this from Holley and it seems like a good option for finally having an accurate fuel Guage. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/fuel_tanks/fuel_tank_accessories/parts/19-250/?

    Fill neck grommet issue

Same issue here, the one from Classic was pretty solid to start with, it lasted about a year and a half and split and would leak when fueling up. I grabbed another from Van's Auto. It was nice and pliable, pretty easy to push the tube through and has been good for 2 years so far.

    FILLER NECK INSTALL

That one I linked to would work, I worked on my 72 Duster. It's a little different design than the factory one, but worked fine.

    FILLER NECK INSTALL

I bought one from Classic Industries, I had a really hard time installing it, it was very stiff and about 2 years alter it split in half. I replaced it with this one, it's very soft and pliable and was extremely easy to install. So far it's been just over a year and isn't leaking yet. fits...

    Fuel tank over full?

I just bought one! We'll see if it works, thanks!

    Fuel tank over full?

I replaced my filler neck grommet when I replaced the tank, it has leaked ever since. Even while filling up at the pump, I know when the tank is full, when fuel starts pouring out from under the car! It was a year one grommet, I'll be buying a new one elsewhere to replace it. I don't recall...

    EFI and External Fuel Regulators

That's the configuration I have. A Tanks Inc tank, with their Wahlbro pump going into a Corvette filter/regulator just outside the tank. The return line coming off the filter/regulator is about 2 feet long and goes bank to the tank, and I only have a supply line running up to the front. The...

Installing fuel outlets on stock tank

I never had any issues with it, those elbows are in the lowest part of the tank when it is installed on the car. I'm not sure why there is two, it was like that when I got it.

Installing fuel outlets on stock tank

Here’s a couple, not the best, the tank is propped up on the front. There are two 90 degree elbows on the bottom with rubber line coming off of them and they go to a ‘tee’ fitting. I have no idea how the elbows are attached, they were on when I got the car. I switched tanks to go to EFI

Installing fuel outlets on stock tank

I have a stock tank with two 1/2” outlets added to the bottom of it. Would be perfect for an electric pump setup. It’s in my pile of parts to get rid of it you want it, I’m not super far from you.

    Replacement Fuel Tanks

It's the correct one, i have an aftermarket gauge that matches, the top and bottom is correct, the middle is way off.

    Replacement Fuel Tanks

I had no issues with my Tanks Inc EFI tank. However, I would spend the couple extra dollars and ge there upgraded fuel sender, I bought the cheap one and my gauge couldn’t be any further off, it reads full at full, and empty at empty, but it drops to 1/8 tank after like 3 gallons are gone.

    Installing new filler neck grommet...

That's how I did mine, put the new grommet on the tank, put the tank in place and then slid the filler right into it. Was easy both times (First time I forgot slide grommet to seal the trunk floor over the tube!)

FITECH EFI TUNING tips, info sharing, ideas, settings, etc...

Any luck finding? Wouldn't mind checking it out over the weekend. No big deal if not.

    FiTech EFI system

I'll have to try that as well, mine stumbles randomly at idle and the timing bounces all over when it does according to the data log. It doesn't sound as bad as your guy's issue, but if I can tune it out, I might as well.

FITECH EFI TUNING tips, info sharing, ideas, settings, etc...

I connected it with a USB then picked USB storage and all the files showed up. You can take the card out of the handheld and plug it in the computer too if you have the right card reader. No big rush, but I do appreciate it. I want to read my data logs in it, I think they will be easier to...

FITECH EFI TUNING tips, info sharing, ideas, settings, etc...

I was wondering if anybody would be willing to share the Pro Cal tuning software. I have the 600hp version and it didn't come with it, I have looked at every file on the sd card and couldn't find it. Could someone upload the software, or email it to me so I can check it out?

    FiTech EFI system

I've got a few hundred miles on the system so far and absolutely love it. Took it to Woodward for pre Dream Cruise activities, had to sit in grid lock traffic for a bit, it never skipped a beat. It used to load up all the time of it idled for extended periods with the carb. My question is...

    FiTech EFI system

I like that tank setup, I'm wishing I went that route instead. And I really wish the wires on the handheld came with a 90 degree end, or came up the bottom. Seems odd they come out of the top.

    FiTech EFI system

Yep, I tried those when we talked about it over PM. It still pushes the fuel out the vent like it's a return.

    FiTech EFI system

I think mine is 110, with about 8 inches of vacuum at idle, everything seems to be working just fine so far with about 200 miles on it.
  23. 72Duster440

    FiTech EFI system

Its almost equal though, you'll need a return for the FCC as well. They call it a vent, but mine flows gallons of fuel per minute through it, I had to replumb the while system since I wasn't expecting it to pump that much fuel out of my vent.

    Fitech Efi Help

I did not, I replaced everything when I installed EFI. I think it's no load, part load, wot. I can check tomorrow for you, or download their tuning manual from their website. It has it all in there

    Fitech Efi Help

I would use your MSD box to control your timing, if your distributor is setup properly, you can fine tune your timing curve better than you can with the FiTech setup. It just has a 3x3 matrix for timing, so you pick idle timing, timing at 3k and timing at 6k, at 3 different engine loads. If...

FITECH EFI TUNING tips, info sharing, ideas, settings, etc...

I was hoping this thread would take off too, I was thinking of creating the same thing. Next time I'm out in the garage I will grab the settings that I changed and enter them on here. For now everything is working great, I had a hot restart stumble, but it appears to have tuned itself out.

    Gas Cap

That's what I did, I was having a small vent issue when I switched to EFI. I drilled a hole through the inner piece and all my issues went away. Probably not the best solution, but it worked and cost nothing.

Finally revamped my entire fuel system.

I was thinking more of rocks and road debris getting thrown from the tire hitting it.
