I had the rubber busing like the ones you have and cannot recall there being a sleeve in the bushings. On Polygraphite versions yes, there is a sleeve. I went through my resto pictures and couldn't find any reassembly pics of them to verify. Here is an assembled pic for you.

Buck351, I fought with them! One went on with a lot of effore but finally worked its way around the end. The other wasn't happening for whatever reason. I finally said "F it" I cut the end of the bracket open got the bushing out, over then, back into the bracket, then clamped it up in the vice...

Well they went in really easy. I lubed up the edges of the bushing and got it started into the bracket by hand. Then I got 2 plates, one on each side, and used the vice to push them together. They went in pretty easy and only took minor adjustments by a straight slot screwdriver afterwards.

I've trying to figure this out myself.I have the triangular style bracket. I'm going to wrestle with mine on thursday and will let you know if I had any luck.

Where to find 1.5" leaf springs bushings? Theres one seller on ebay. There has got to be another place that sells a 1 1/2" rubber bushing. I figured I'd ask while I scour the internet for soloution. Granted the Ebay ones are what I need but $80 for the kit seems high when all the rears are $10...

How can you tell a ralley suspension leaf spring from a regular spring? The reason I ask is that I am parting out a 68 4dr 6cyl and its leaf springs have 6 leaves per side. Are they worth keeping for my 72 Demon? I'll look for a part # if needed tomorrow. Thanks, Brent
