Prior to this one, neither had I. I posted the question on a Facebook page a few weeks ago and got similar responses. We all learn something new everyday. Up until I got this one, all I had ever seen was the snorkel type and the 4 bbl Commando.
Mine uses a clamp on to the carb baseplate with the air cleaner stub attached to the baseplate, because it is a 65. In 66 and up the put the air cleaner stud onto the carb itself with a wire bail so all the air cleaner assembly pulled down tight to the carb.
