God don't do that! That XE275 is WAY better and will make better power! The Thumprs are for sound! Do a little research and I think you'll find that the XE275 is a very good cam! IMHO your setting yourself up for disappointment! Keep the XE275 and run a true dual 2.5" exhaust. It'll thump

Summit turbo mufflers were real tame for me. Too tame, but I had opposite problem. Also Accurate Exhaust oem style mufflers seem tame too. Both would be better flowing than your run of the mill Tuffy special, that being the quietest I'd say.

Improved clip of the Duster... 9.2'ish to 1 360 otherwise stock with Hughes "Whiplash" cam, Air Gap and 625 Street Demon. Doug's Headers going to 2.5" dual exhaust with Original 40 Series Flowmasters. No X or H for now.

Sorry for the late reply! Plugs seem the same if not a bit easier. Getti g to the header bolts for retorquing after a few cycles is easier.... Good luck. You won't be dissatisfied with Dougs

Had TTI's on the Duster and just swapped 'em over for brand new Doug's....way cheaper AND fit better! Win/Win all the way around. I dont think I'd go back to TTI's. Nothing wrong with TTI but for a 67-72 application Doug's has my new vote! Couple pics to look at...

Cherry Bomb Vortex! Nice mufflers....got a good deep mellow tone to them. Love 'em on my Duster.

Cherry Bomb - Vortex....no drone, real nice part throttle sound and barks at WOT when you want them to. Bought my Duster w/ a 2.5" dual system and these muff's on it, and they are the best I've ever experienced. Best of both worlds...that I've ever delt with anyway. Just my $.02

Your looking at custom tailpipes w/ the relo kit.... Had my exhaust done by a buddy that owns Muffler Man for $180...included a H pipe and tailpipes. Kept my headpipes...but if I need them it'd only be about $230....moral is, find a buddy who knows a shop etc....and you can find a pretty good...

All true! However I think TTI has finally succumbed to a "blurb" about the Z-bar on their website if I'm not mistaken? I think I saw it last time I was checking out headers and was pleasantly suprised! Of course it reads something like "...may interfere with z-bar on manual transmission...

Dont let a shop rake you with it. I had headers installed in my car for about $125 last year when I couldnt get to it myself. With the lift the right tools they did it in a couple hours. Basically translated into about 2hrs labor because I supplied the parts. Just make sure it's a reputable shop...

Finally got a clip of my car uploaded. Switched from Flowmasters to Magnaflows. Love 'em. More mellow tone and really bark when you hit it! Not hallow sounding anymore like the Flowmasters were... 340 bored .030 over mild port X-heads 2.02/1.60 valves Eddy Perf. RPM intake w/ Pro-Systems...

My next muffler is going to the the Cherry Bomb Vortex...hands down. Check it out on the website and search YouTube for some clips. They outflow Flowmaster like crazy, and sound better IMO.. It's either those, or the 2.5" Chambered Powersticks I have sitting in my garage, which I'm feeling...

I'm running them. I had to jack up the engine to get the driver side out. Once they are in they fit good. Easy to change plugs like previuosly mentioned. I dont have any steerging box issues, or any other rubbing/clearance issue either for that matter. Fitment seems to be good, getting them...
