I recolored the interior on my '73 as well. Used VHT vinyl spray on the door panels, regular black spraybomb for the roof hardboard and bought some black leather paint for the rear seat.

My '73 Dart also had that Baby-****-Brown interior. Replaced the front seats with a pair of BMW seats and painted the rest of the interior black with vinyl & leather paint.

You need a biological cleaner with enzymes to break down the mousepiss smell.

I've got Equus gauges too. Not the best quality but I liked their lettering font on the dials. On your dash I would put the most important gauges near the speed gauge. From left to right: Fuel - Voltage - Watertemp - Speed - Oil pressure. The huge lights need to be at least half their current size.

I've got some cheapish car alarm in my Dart with similar actuators. But the keyless entry is something I couldn't live without any more. Mostly indeed when it pours the last thing you want to is fumble around with keys and a lock. Wasn't the right side of a car always called the female side? :D

Yes. With some higher quality doorlock actuators I think you could have a reliable setup. Or even use parts from a later Fullsize Mopar model. Where you thinking of some factory option?

I think I would start by removing the front bench or both seats to make room for some comfy backlaying. Perhaps put on some safetyglasses so your eyeballs won't catch the majority of debris and fiberglass insulation while your hands are plowing away behind the dash. :)

It's just a vacuum gauge. The screw inside is probably to calibrate it. You could try to 'tap' on it litely and see if the needle moves, to make sure the mechanism is free.

I've got a pair of '80s BMW seats in my Dart. Needed to drill some new holes in the floorboards and reinforce those areas with the flatstock and large washers. Had to use some spacers to get the seats level again because of the floorboards shapes.

I might still have to pull the cluster as I have dropped the right most bulb and socket somewhere in the column brackets. I put white leds in the other 2 sockets but the blue caps inside the cluster dim the leds too much so I'll probably want to remove them.
