If the kickdown-linkage isn't setup properly, the car will either upshift very quickly while taking off, or it will hang in gears longer than necessary. The most common issue is some folks don't hook up the linkage at all because they think it's not needed. But on a Mopar transmission this...

Thanks. I don't know where it was build yet, but I do know where it rusted most of it's time ;) Dartman, that must be Hoofddorp. That about 40 minutes north/east of where I live, which is in The Hague, near the westcoast. 'Jonker' is a name that's still fairly common here aswell.
