Alright, thanks. All I am looking for is a decent paint job that is pretty cheap for the time being. Seeing how I want to drive mine to school, the store, I want to drive it anywhere without being afraid to drive it. That price seems pretty reasonable.

Got a hold of Auto body specialties today and they expect to have the pans out within 6 weeks! $179.00 ea for half pans and the same 430.00 for full.

That paint came out looking great, and you had it done at MAACO? I was thinking of getting a quick paint from there when the time comes...might I ask how much you paid for the paint? The car looks great overall.

Also I checked out ABS (Auto Body Specialties) and they are making half sections, from rocker to the tunnel...I will probably be looking into those more since my tunnel is solid.

Hey there rumble, I pretty much am in the same boat as you :). Except I need a full floor, I am surprised my foot didn't go through the floor when I got in it lol...I have a 73 /6 duster, which is pretty rough. Great to read about your progress. I look forward to read about your future updates.

I am sure other people have done this :). I hope you can tell us what it takes to get it working...I love the idea I would just be clueless on how to make all the electrical functional. with all the o2 sensors and what not.

Man I always thought that it would be neat to put a 5.9 in a duster, I often think about putting one in my car. (I have a 73 project also with a /6). I would love to see what it takes to get it in and have EFI working with it too! Keep us updated please...and the more pictures the better :).
