Show me your air line setup

Why? I plumbed my garage with 3/4" PVC nearly 20 years ago and it works fine. Did two drops on each wall plus to overhead drops on either side of my Handy Lift at a cost of only a few bucks. The only pricey part was the QD couplings.

    Garage heat

I don't disagree...but if you do ANYTHING in the city without the final sign off it will come back and bite you in the hiney if you ever try to sell the house. That's just the way it is.

    Garage heat

Good idea. I already ran a Romex power line and installed a sub panel but have not hooked it up (I'll need a licensed electrician for that). Summertime would be the right time to have a NG line run out there. I will check into pricing.

    Garage heat

    Yup. Every time.

    Garage heat

I made some phone calls. Being in the city limits, the only options I have are natural gas, propane, or electric heat. Guess I'll have to wait for spring. There are nearly 2 feet deep of snow between the house and garage now.

    HF sandblaster

I did that. There's a bunch of them. Watched a few so far but mostly...meh. I'm looking for the 7 part series he mentioned.

Big John, do you have a link to the YT mod videos you mentioned?

    HF sandblaster

I purchased a barely used Harbor Freight free-standing sandblaster cabinet from my boss here at work. I have it stoked with fresh walnut shell media. Now, this thing, when working, will peel about two square inches of paint or rust in a few seconds. Then it just seems to be blowing air and...

    Garage heat

It "could" be tall enough to hang one in the corner. IF...I was able to get natural gas run out to the garage. That would have to be a summertime thing, I'm guessing, if within a reasonable price range.

    Garage heat

Above all it needs to be safe.

    Garage heat

Planning on insulating and paneling, but one step at a time. I built a workbench in one corner and put up R19 and pegboard behind it but that only covers about 12 feet of wall space.

    Garage heat

Being within city limits, I'm sure there are a ton. I'll bet there's even one against wood burning stoves in an outbuilding. Hell, we can't even burn leaves. LPG might be the way to go, albeit expensive. Any natural gas would require the gas company to trench and install it...not cheap, I'm sure.

    Garage heat

Here in the bowels of the Midwest (Chicago area) winter can be a Really Big Deal. So much so that it puts the binders on any serious work from mid-November through May, give or take depending on unseasonably warm or cold weather. My 2-1/2 car garage is un-insulated, unheated, and wired for 15...

    HF leak down tester

The gauges are the most expensive part..... I was tempted to buy the HF set but opted for a Mac set at twice the price after reading the online reviews on the HF set. Read for yourself..... http://www.harborfreight.com/cylinder-leak-down-tester-94190.html

    torque wrench

As was mentioned, "Harbor Fright" sells El-Cheapo's for 10 bucks. Not the best, but better than guessing. You will use it again, trust me.

    Snap On

That bottom is a KR660? I bought one new in 1991 and paid $1500.00 for it from the tool man. You did well.
