The bumper guards are probably dealer installed over the counter parts. If you remove one, they will likely have a pentastar and part number on the back side. The car that bumper came off of had a CB if I remember correctly so that other bracket was for an antenna.

You will have to notch or eliminate the heater box for distributor clearance. The battery tray is very close to the valve cover. Most everything else is 64-66 V8 specific parts.

Sounds like a well optioned Dart. They're a blast to drive with the suspension package along with the 273-4. Pretty rare factory black paint (assuming). Does it have the fast ration manual steering box too?

What Sanderson headers fit an early A-body? Are you prepared to cut apart your new headers?

I’ve had Hellwig and Firm Feel on early A-bodies. Both kits worked great.

I’ve bought 273 head gaskets from AMS Obsolete in the past. I think they were running low but a 318 gasket would be the next best thing.

Did you pound out the roll pin from the small hole in the coupler? The roll pin prevents the steering shaft/coupler from pulling off of the steering box. Pull the roll pin and the coupler should slide off of the steering box splines.

Great progress 64mopar. When (if) you move the springs in, what’s your plan for a fuel tank? The stock offset tank leaves no room for exhaust out the back.

Is your car an original V8 car? If so, you already have the correct front hangers.
