Dustermaniac was using the oxide stuff to do his windows.I think he was happy with the results but probably only good for light scratches.Mine is scratched up too,don't know why,it's only 43 years old. :-D

I think both emblems are flat.Look at the pics of the trunk emblem and you will see it sits up off the surface.Does this help Vic?

Doug ,it sounds to me like you want the mean look for your car instead of the "pretty" look. I have always liked black,maybe you could go with a satin finish.I think the flat black will draw the dirt also.Maybe consider painting the bumpers black as well,i like that look on some cars.JMHO.

Well this is it.Thanks to FABO member ROB R for repairing the scratches.I did what I could to paint,clear,wetsand ,and polish out the boo boos.No I didn't fix the dent,maybe some time down the road.It's far from perfect but it will have to do for now.8)

I don't think I will have everything done that I wanted to do,had to run out to my cottage last night and cut the grass,so i spent the night,lost some time there.We will see what tomorrow brings. Get this Vic,the paint seems to look more like yours now,lol.:-D

The dent was there at the same time as the scratches.I haven't takin "Dents 101" yet,that's down the road.After I am finished I hope it is good enough to post in my earlier thread.I got your number Noel,and a "red" phone ,too.:-D
