Jim the G slot is the hot wire coming from the starter relay. It doesn’t make sense to me why they would have a solid hot wire and a fusible link also.?

I got pair for a 65 dart off of JC Whitney in 2003 they are still on it no sag.

Stick the nozzle in as you would normally, the rotate it clockwise 90 degrees to nine or ten o'clock. Works on my 65 every time. Hope it works on yours
