    New Shoes for the Duster

Hey folks, Just a quick update. Put the MTs on... correctly this time! LOL. Took a cruise around town to see how they'd work and am really happy with the tires so far. It was blowing the cheap old 255 All Seasons loose when hammering it anywhere below 30-35mph with the 4.30s. Was never able...

    New Shoes for the Duster

Thanks much. 1201lbs load index, T rating 118 mph. Cheap Walmart/Nexen brand. Temporarily while I figure out a tall, yet slightly wider tire to run up front. Pat

    New Shoes for the Duster

Hey Folks, Hope everyone's been doing well. Finally get some new tires for the Duster. 165-85R 15's in front, MT ET SS's out back, 275-60R 15. Really happy with how well the 275's fill the rear wells. Can't wait to try them out. I'm sure they'll be a major improvement over the much too old All...

Wilwood front brake kit need new rims

I'm running SBP 15" centerlines with the Wilwood front disc conversion. 72 Duster. No issues. Not sure if 15" steelies would work? Hope you get her sorted out. Think you'll find that they perform really well. Pat

    front skinny for the street?

Hey James Dart, I'm running 165x80R 15's out front on the Duster. Not a daily driver, and certainly not a canyon carver, but they do just front going in a straight line. :burnout: But seriously, it handles fine for the basic drives to car shows and cruise nights with the family...

Question on backspacing on rear wheels

I believe 4 1/2 is what most folks use/suggest. But I would guess either 4 or 4 1/2 would work with the relatively small tires you're planning to use. Pat

    What size fits?

I have 255 60 15's on the rear of my 72 (skinnys up front). They fit with tons of room to spare. As PoisonDart74 suggested, 236/60's would be a good choice if you want all 4 to be the same. Pat

    Cooper Cobra Radials

So you got what 4....5 different sets of rolling stock now right man? A new set of shoes for each day of the week. :thumleft: (I really like the steelies you have on there now, especially the black ones w/trim rings) Pat

New Rallyes are on - pictures

They look great. I'll probably ditch the Centerlines (or throw some sticky tires on them and use them for the strip) that came with my Duster and replace them with some Rally's.

If you are considering 15" Steelies.....

Those rims are hot on your ride man. Wickedly cool.
