Hose issue resolved now on to wiring. The ground for the blower motor and the coiled wire in the box are together. Does each have to be grounded? I have the motor working but not sure what to do with the shorter ground. Is the coiled wire in the heater box a heater itself? Still on the 67 dart...

Resolved the issue with a steel exhaust reducer painted black to the vent and 2' of 2" vinyl hose for about 8$. Works great and you cant see it.

Where do we get the set of dash vent to heater box hoses. Looking at my old one im guessing its not a standard size. Its for a 67 dart no a/c

Thank you, you are a true hero. Trying to put things back as I finish them but sometimes it takes a little longer then expected. I dummied up a spare am radio so I could have more play room back there. Can't tell from looking that 3/4 of its gone. Didn't want to cut anything. Thanks again.

Is there a diagram for how the cables are routed available. I had color coded them when removed but they are being a pain to put back. I have a bracket for one but forget where it was attached. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Dave. I have one from an early 70's and its very different, its wrapped very heavy in foam and has no bumper on it.

So I'm still curious to know if I remove the bumper and seal the edges will the door still operate properly. Seems like it stops the door from closing all the way either direction.

I'm in the process of putting the rest of my 67 dart heater box together and of course somehow I have deleted all my phone photos. Im at the door which has the rubber bumper on it. Using the rebuild kit is there any foam the goes on this door? I don't recall when it came out that there was...

Just wondering if the bolt pattern is the same on the water pumps for the slants. I might go this way also

I was wondering how to tell if the heater core is leaking or defective in my 67 Dart. I'm getting white smoke out of the fresh air intake in front and also inside the car. It doesn't smell like burning oil or wires (thankfully) and it increases with the fan on. Also getting a film on the inside...

Im in the process of putting my heater box back together and was wondering if anyone knows where the clips go on the cardboard, the little black ones and the two greens. I forgot to take pics of those before I started. Thanks again. :prayer:

Is there somewhere I can find a diagram as to how to run the control cables on a 67 dart no a/c. Also possible which color cable goes where. I do believe I put them in the wrong spots. Thanks
