Off the wall maybe but I had an issue with vibration on a 69 b body. Was drum brakes in front, the inner race was spinning in the hub causing it.

The 26x8's are pretty wide on the front. I'm running the 26x8's on front and 28x12x15's on the rear of my Demon. You really will have to be very careful on the rim offset and I'm still not sure the 8" wide front will clear the front fender lip. I don't remember the specs on my wheels off the top...
