Drilling a metering block for PVRC jets

It is a crummy picture, but yes. The hole was counter bored for the jet to set into the pocket. This whole thing took about ten minutes to do with a hand held drill.

Drilling a metering block for PVRC jets

Did anyone here ever drill and tap a metering block for PVRC jets? I had an old block so I drilled it and tapped it. It seams to work ok. I was interested if any of you guys or gals have done this in the past. Thanks............Ted

    Wrong Inline Tubing Fuel Line

    Dual Thermoquads anyone?

Way back in the last century I went to a performance clinic that was hosted by Dick Harell. It was all about the brand new Thermo Quad. He had his Pro/Stock and Funny car there. I always thought that the plastic center section was a good idea and I felt that they were very good carbs. Although...

    carburetor infamous PING (vacuum issue)

One other thing to check is the PCV valve. If it's worn out or broken it will act like a huge vacuum leak. Easy to check and cheap to replace. Ted

    What cfm are they?

If you're just going for that resto look, check out the Demon 98's. They have the look of a Stromberg 97 but with some new features. They rate them @ 205 cfm. Ted
