BB A-body fenderwell headers and Master cylinder brake line help

It's very easy. Those lines are sold in different lengths. They are #3 size so I just ordered the fittings to match the line. Like in the roll control it needed a 90* elbow and and straight fitting. The rear one that you cant see in the rear just needed a straight fitting. Up at the mater it...

Well hello gang. Its been a while due to a stroke in May. Three weeks on my back but I'm recovering from it. I'm doing well now. So lets get going. I did a few things this year like a trip to N.Y. to go and put my bottom end together. That was awesome! Besides that I just put my front and rear...

Yup. And I've got a "real" Sun Super tach to go on the steering column too. It was in one of our friends car. He passed away a few years ago so it's got sentimental value.

    499 Demon

Just about 3 years ago I started this thread saying that I was going to try to have the Demon on wheels that summer. Well it finally happened yesterday. My wife and I unbolted it off of the rotisserie and it rolled out of the garage into the sunlight.

    440 wrist pin noise?

I'll but that your noise is the converter. I had the same thing happen to me. It sounded like the rods were coming out through the pan. When the trans is in "park" (and it has a stock valve body) there is no fluid going to the converter. That's why the noise seems to go away when you put it in...

    hooker fenderwell headers

Here's a few shots of mine. You can see the difference in the 2 sides. This is using a motor plate. Originally I was using the /6 conversion mounts but I ran into too many fitment issues with them. That's why I went with the motor plate. Ted

    499 Demon

Ok, I've been back at it for the past few weeks. At the moment I wasn't too keen on that idea but now I see that he was...

The Demon project has been on hold for a while. But I have now had some time to get back on it. My buddy came out and we finished installing the cage. Now with that finished I was able to put in the bulkhead pieces that I had made a few months ago. I put a quick coat of Rustolium silver on...

Big issues with BB mounts on Dart!

Sorry to say that I had the very same issue on my Demon. I did manage to cut and grind the K member until it sat correctly. But I just hated it so I went to a motor plate. I agree that there is some sort of issue with the mounts. Ted

I have an eagle forged rotating assembly for it. The plan is to run it on E-85 so I'll be targeting a static compression of 12 to 1. I want to run a set of the new Trick-Flow 240 heads. I have a dominator for it but it needs to be converted to e-85 specs. I'm thinking of running an M-1 intake.

    499 Demon

I was able to put some more time in on the Demon over the past week. I cut out some sheet metal pieces to fill in the speaker holes where the roll bar is going through. I figured it would be easier if I eliminated the oval shape so I cut it to be almost square. I made the 2 piece with a...
