Like previously posted, wet it down, now days everything is bad for you, we as kids would play with thermometer mercury, still alive and never owned a Mercury, just Mopars
You can get it off by trying this: loosen nut but leave a few turns threaded on. Slouch down in seat and lift knees against back side of wheel and pull towards you. Hit wheel nut with hammer and pop it free.
I have a 'Tag' on a string for a standard 64 Fury bench seat that states 6-way adj. seat. I think the dealership could adjust seat mounting holes to seat tracks, Maybee the same?
Have not tried Eastwood, I used epoxy, filler, primer and paint. After 6yrs has a hairline crack, not bad considering its on an old pickup with no power steering and cost $ 30.00
A friend of mine paid 400 bucks to have a black wheel done...after one year it has hairline cracks. So I used epoxy, then filler, paint, and clearcoat on my 59. One year later it has one hairline crack and it set me back 40 bucks.
