I had never heard of one either. I didn't have a chance to hold it up to my bumper. The parts book doesn't list anything either. I just installed the plate onto the bumper.

I have seen a metal bracket that was supposedly for a Duster that mounted on the front bumper. I didn't get a part number but it was NOS. I allowed the front plate to be perpendicular to the ground and not slanted as it is when mounted on the bumper otherwise.

I'm looking for either a NOS or very good original front license plate bracket to fit my 1970 Duster 340.

Yikes! $250 is a lot of money for plastic. I'm glad that my originals survived.

I'm almost finished with my trunk restoration except for attaching the plastic tail light covers. I can't find the hardware in my bagged and tagged fasteners. Does anybody have pics or possible hardware for sale?

Thanks for offering your help but measurements aren't needed. I sent my emblems out to Mike and he told me that he was able to locate the original holes on the fenders.

The emblem location holes on my fenders have been welded over. I was hoping that somebody on FABO could give me some measurement for proper placement.

I agree with Redfish. Sagging door hinges is the main culprit to striker failure. My Duster had a cracked striker on the driver's side. The broken striker made a very annoying rattle whenever you would driver over bumps.

The trim is called belt molding and I believe that it is fairly uncommon to see it on a Duster. If the car was "born" with the trim, I would definitely put it back on.
