Could be leaking out the vent tube if you over filled the tank , like running it all the way up the filler neck

Is the fuel pickup tube clogged in the tank?

Could be leaking at the fuel pump , line that runs from the pump to the carb or the carb itself

I'd put a box end wrench on it and use a big hammer , hitting it lightly letting the weight work for you. Hold the intake on it's side so the blow will be going down , preferably with some one holding the intake and you holding the wrench and hammer

You wouldn't happen to be running an orange mopar ignition box would you?
