I wouldn't shave the springs. If you need just a little more room, use the offset shackle/hanger kit and get an additional .8"

Try pricing springs through your MP dealer. Sometimes, they absorb most of the shipping cost if it comes in with a regular order. Sometimes, patience pays off.
