I seem to remember reading that they had mnfr ID markings/stampings (to track which race teams/builders they originally went to) but no traditional VIN stampings.

I'm pretty sure he is gong to need custom exhaust fabricated (or at least heavily modified). If he wants to be where I think,he wants to be, he's going to want full length headers and not manifolds

It comes down to personal preference. 71gtdart can create a quick budget for both options. There are pros/cons.

Yes, in the larger jeep modes (ex. Wagoneer, Cherokee, Pickups, etc.). Pass cars too of course.

I have an AMX. Yes, forget about an affordable 390 or 401. I highly suggest getting an AMC 360, a TorqueCommand (aka: Torqueflite) trans and a Group 20 twin group differential and build them up. Does the Gremmie have a 304 or a 6 cyl?

Well, I'm a big Alston fan. I grew up as a teen hanging at Chris' first shop down on the Peninsula. Now that I live in Sac, he's in my backyard (or vice versa). I'm running a full custom Alston chassis in my 35 Ply coupe.
