    .........Who's from Saskatchewan.....

Have not been here for some time. Mopar projects on the back burner, but I would like to add a comment. This is coming from a guy who has lived in 3 Western Canada provinces. Saskatchewan rules! I was born in Manitoba and growing up in the 60's and 70's, we imagined Saskatchewan to be our...

    Getting a title in BC

Missing something here. Did you establish that the nephew owned the truck? Or is this just a presumption? That ICBC title search is looking better. If there are family issues in the way, best to back off.

    Getting a title in BC

Cool truck! You could always send it to me in Saskatchewan. Pretty easy to get title on anything over 30 years old, even from out of province.

    La Megantic video = wow

Must be my PTSD kicking in. Retired from the railroad for 2 months now and the night after the derailment I barely slept. Kept having nightmares about getting called in to clean up the mess and I worked for a completely different railroad. 37 bodies and counting. Horrible tragedy.

    La Megantic video = wow

Railroader's worst nightmare. Death toll is staggering. Finger pointing won't help, but there is a lot of concern about the state of the brakes. Ed Burkhardt is correct, (but a little blunt) in his assessment that there were insufficient handbrakes applied. Train would not have rolled away if...

    .........Who's from Saskatchewan.....

Yup, Took a transfer 2 years ago. Big mistake. Car culture takes a back seat to the environuts, so I'm pretty much out of place. Big rocks everywhere blocking out the sky and spoiling the sunsets. BC stands for Bring Cash. 9 more months and I'm retiring back to Melville!

    Vehicle moving companies

Had a car shipped by Hansen's last summer. Company paid, but I heard it was real expensive. First of all, they are a forwarder and they used a contractor that usually delivered new Toyota's. No train shipping here and I work for the railroad! Searail used to handle rail shipments, but they got...

    .........Who's from Saskatchewan.....

Well, I'm from Saskatchewan right now, but I'm originally from Manitoba and in about a month I'll be a resident of Smither's BC. I'll wave as I go thru Prince George Bayyum! p.s. I'll bring a piece of Rider Nation with me. No matter how nice the scenery is, I will never cheer for the Lions!

    Moving to BC

Any members in BC? I've been offered a transfer to Smither's BC from Saskatchewan. Took a look at the ICBC website and it does not really tell you much about rates. So.... what is your experience with registering vehicles like seldom used A bodies in BC? In Saskatchewan, you can buy a basic...
