That’s a 1973 340 air cleaner. The 72 340 air cleaners also had a trap door on the bottom.
Its hard to tell in the photos; is it painted a matte orange?
By 1974 the rear end is either a 7 1/4 or 8 1/4. Depending on if it had drum brakes or was a slant 6, it could be small bolt or big bolt pattern. Lots of basic details lacking in the ad.
Thanks for the reduced price. I’ll wait until you confirm if you’ve got any ‘sure grip lube’ tags and, if you’ve got 2, I’ll buy the next one after 65Val.
Since I’m in Canada, I’d be all over one of those (3.23) if they were cheaper. They are $12 usd (new) from year one which is one of the more expensive places.
I bought Treblig’s drivers side downpipe (curved one in the pic). No need to dent/pound the regular downpipe to clear the drivers side torsion bar. It’s a great solution. Considers this a positive review/feedback on a great product.
True. However, for the same price, if not less once shipping has been added, one can have a brand new intake, with warranty/return options, that can be painted any color desired without having to strip/blast one with paint already on it.
