4-bar / back half the HemiDenny / HDK way

I agree, never been a fan of fuel in the trunk. it is fun to build something like this I always learn a few things for the next one. Right about the small brakes on the big diameter rims, but just cannot get my old school head around the 19" and 20" rims on our 60 and 70's hot rods. Guess I'm...

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

Dart looks great. Been a fan of the 4-speeds for over 5 decades. Having an automatic in a hot rod like the Dart is like sex with a condom. You get there....just not as much fun.

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

1/4" vent hose, not as thick as fuel line. and doesn't need to be because there is no pressure on it. A tension clamp is a good idea on both ends

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

you might want to put a drain hose on the radiator overflow fitting and route it pointing to the the ground. If it happens to build pressure and releases, it will be spraying all over your pretty Hemi.

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

glad to see you made it back A-ok. I'm sure Sean told you.....Hemis are inherently cold blooded, even with a choke (not sure if you have any?), let it warm up sufficiently. And be careful on those street tires, mashing the gas in about any gear can and likely will spin you out. enjoy the ride...

I saw them sketched on a cocktail napkin at Somma's Pizza / Plum, PA a while back. They are for coil springs but the pivot points is what were needed. They will work A-OK for making a jig to fabricate the next step.....mock-up LCA arms.

    "Next Victim"

I'm sure it will get an exhibition pass somewhere. Butch is itching to go 200 mph.(again). Me, my (pucker) limit would be somewhere around 150.

    "Next Victim"

Thanks, and I see they have a bright red option. I'll be ordering color samples. Butch likes a tan, I'm a fan of the bright (porno) red, matching the bright red exterior scheme reminiscent of his 73 Pro Stock Duster. There will not be any silver on the car like the rendering, what appears to be...

The plan, which I am already azz deep into, is a street strut using the SN95 spindles and QA1 Mustang strut. Numerous reasons why... but this was my best solution. I basically adapted 96-04 OEM Mustang geometry to my front subframe. The $100 OEM Mustang arms are used make a jig for building a...

over time, the project switched from 4-speed w/ GV to the OEM 8HP90 8-speed to (hopefully final answer) the TCI 6X Gen III / Outlaw shifter (automatic) package. Butch worked with TCI on the converter specs. We liked the transmission gear selection with a .75 overdrive. It does fit the OEM...
