Wow, that is a lot simpler and less expensive that what I did on Dad's 65. I put a late model 904 in it, so I needed the Imperial services cable to work with the stock automatic shifter.

I had no idea these were getting this hard to find. Here is a real bargain! :D I had four nice sets in a box (mostly 68), and sold the whole box for $40, just to get rid of them. :banghead:

I have a single drivers side with tab, but believe it is a 68 unit. How doe you tell the difference? I have been carrying this thing to swap meets for years, it is all glass beaded, painted an pretty!

I agree with that statement. I did one for a guy a few years ago, and I had about 6 or 7 hours in just masking it for paint. This Duster is a great find, congratulations! I wish you all the luck in the world on the drive home.

Those seem to be the scarcest ones for some reason. I see three options if you don't find one soon on here. 1) buy one from Passon or Brewers 2) Turn down your bearing retainer 3) Have the opening on another bell opened up. I have one with a 4.80 opening, that has obviously had that done to...

Ok, you were probably asking right, I just had it wrong. No spares of those but I bet Passon or Brewers will have them.

If I am right about what you are asking for, I am pretty sure I have a spare set. Are you talking about the C shaped things that go around the thing between the gears and connect to the side plate?

Both? Wow, I feel for you! That has to be the one that is part of the window rubber, weather strip. It clips onto the body opening for the window, and has rubber mated to a metal strip with chrome on it.
