There were no 340 cars built in Newark, should be a "B" I believe and built in Hamtramck or "E" built in Los Angeles. Red engine was an early built Dart or Barracuda because 9-17-68 was the TSB for Turquoise paint for the rest of the model year, so rare engine to see for sure!

Aftermarket paint manufacturers vary wildly in color. I too have seen many original paint 340's and 383/440's painted in turquoise, those colors vary also depending on how long and hot they have been run and how much grease has penetrated the paint. We will just agree to disagree at this point...
