    Here is a pic of my restored 69 GTS 383 4-speed, everything is 100% correct including the 4615S Carter carb. Your carb has the generic linkage on it so it probably will not be close to the factory location.

    Saw one at the Waukesha, WI swap a couple weeks ago for $650 which was an early 68. Late 68-69 works with power steering, those can go for more.

    Hi Mike, Jim from Round Lake. it is a straight forward swap if everything is manual for brakes and steering, all you need is the Shumacher or similar mounts. You may have an issue with those exhaust manifolds, but you probably have some HP big block manifolds laying around that will work better...

    OK, wasn't aware there was a direct fit motor. The last time I put a 440 in an A-Body with an A/C was in the 1990's, so I may be out of the loop with what's available now. I have put a modern Hemi in an A-Body with Vintage air in the last 15 years though...LOL..
