9 mi per gallon! 56 miles each way to track. Car weighs 3700 lbs with me in. Added the recommended 750 carb, headers etc., for that engine. No difference between changing between double pumper or vacuum secondary either. I've ranted on this engine/car set up before.

I have seen some vendors advertise these motors for 10k. Bluprint has a 375 hp for a fraction of that. I bought mine from a member here years ago.

Thanks, good read. I bought all that edlebrock recommended. Push rods, roller rockers, arp stuff, ... I never did a dyno baseline on the original set up so the chassis dyno will be interesting

I have the same motor bought untouched like you did. I put eddy heads on after porting polishing gasket matching . Same with intake. Added roller rockers as well. Waiting to dyno .

In terms of getting more customers, might want to consider Chrysler's at Carlisle in Pennsylvania. Northeast America. Bring some motors and running stands

I'm running a 160 stat with Evans as well. It gets around 210 in very hot weather. Runs very cool in cool weather.
