    13 sec. 360 for $3,000?

Dont be misled like i was. 70 to 72 A bodys are weight friendly. I was very disappointed when my 73 rolled over the scales. 3480 without me and less than 1/2 tank of gas. You also lose around 100 hp through the drivetrain as well. Going to need well over 500 hp to get in the 13s and beyond

Looking for more pep off the line

I think he fell into the same hole us novices like myself fall into. 73s are heavy freaking cars. Mine is 3480 without me, 3700 with me. fiberglass hood, aluminum heads, bumper reinforcements removed and no heater box. No other options to remove weight unless I acid dip the car which isn't...

Some M1 porting pictures and flow numbers

9 mi per gallon! 56 miles each way to track. Car weighs 3700 lbs with me in. Added the recommended 750 carb, headers etc., for that engine. No difference between changing between double pumper or vacuum secondary either. I've ranted on this engine/car set up before.

Some M1 porting pictures and flow numbers

Had the original small heads 1.92s etc. Upgraded to 2.02/1.60 cam was 501 /513 as original

Some M1 porting pictures and flow numbers

I had eddy heads/M1 ported polished gasket matched. Added roller rockers per eddy instructions and I dont believe it made a difference in anything other than aesthetics. Alot of money spent to make the runners look smooth. MP 380hp crate motor

    Only 460hp

Timing set at 40 total, 72 front 80 rear holley double pumper. The tires were not being blown off.(street tires) Best pass of ten passes was the very first pass...9.43 in the 8th, 2.642 60. 6.45 330 on a .602 reaction .........I do hate the car with a passion. That's said, I have a dyno proven...

    Only 460hp

Only 460 hp, I know how you feel. 73 Duster, 3680 lbs, 380 hp crate motor, high stall converter etc only goes 9s in the 1/8. Careful planning = Piece of garbage

Any 10 second "All Throttle" 318's in door cars ?

According to Wallace, my car should run mid 12s, but it really runs 14s. How can it be so close for all your cars and so far off for me? 3680 lbs plus fuel, 380 presumed crank hp(true MP Crate. Maybe I have the motor that although advertised minimum 380 bhp but is the one motor that was under...

    Port match intake/gaskets/heads or not

added eddy heads. Ported polished gasket matched. Same with M1 intake. Made ZERO difference. What a waste of money.....

    422 dyno fail

3800 stall, 370 gear, 225 60 15. Using the recommended 750 Holley carb, put on larger eddy aluminum heads (ported polished gasket matched)

    422 dyno fail

Yeah, cars running those times were in stripped down race cars less than 3,000 lbs. It has been discussed here before .I dont want a drag car only. I'm probably going to park it, forget it and I'll start off with something entirely different. The car is a pig an not worth putting another dime in it

    422 dyno fail

I would be pissed! Get a stock motor for cheap and add 100 shot and you'll have more Hp. If it makes you feel better, my MP 380 hp in a 3480 lb duster doesnt go faster than 14s. $800 stall, tti headers and lower gears added. Did NO better than the stock reman 360, stock convertor and non posi...

    To nitrous or not?

150 shot is safe. Dont NEED forged internals, separate fuel sys. Etc. This has been covered many times here

    Edelbrock to Trick Flow swap?

I dont think it's worth the swap unless money is no issue. More cost effective to add 50 or 75 or 100 shot

Mopar performance 360/380 hp crate motor

Has not been at the track. If the car doesn't sell in the spring I might run it. I have low expectations as the car weighs 3480 without me in it.

Mopar performance 360/380 hp crate motor

I have seen some vendors advertise these motors for 10k. Bluprint has a 375 hp for a fraction of that. I bought mine from a member here years ago.

Mopar performance 360/380 hp crate motor

Thanks, good read. I bought all that edlebrock recommended. Push rods, roller rockers, arp stuff, ... I never did a dyno baseline on the original set up so the chassis dyno will be interesting

Mopar performance 360/380 hp crate motor

I have the same motor bought untouched like you did. I put eddy heads on after porting polishing gasket matching . Same with intake. Added roller rockers as well. Waiting to dyno .

Any reviews on a 360 magnum crate motor P5249499
