Th old hanger is placed against the trunk where I had the issue. In other words, the bottom eye folded up against the sheet metal

UPDATE: I rotated the 15x7 225 60 15 to the rear and put 205 70 14 on the front. After a test drive I didn't feel or hear any rubbing. The rim width from 15x8 to 15x7 made the difference.

2 bolt holes attach to the water pump behind the larger bracket and the one remaining hole goes behind the power steering bracket while the bolt goes through the front bracket, to the "triangle" hole through the spacer.......
