The spindles should fit an A body if you use the big ball joint A body upper control arms and lower ball joints for a later A body disc setup. Do a little measuring to be sure. :thumbsup:

Block it up where it will turn freely and you can get close by rotating it and counting. Turn the yoke straight up and down and mark one end. Then mark the top of the brake drum you will turn on the top side. Count how many times the pinion turns, per one turn of the brake drum. 3 and a quarter...

If your rings measure the same as mine, and you have a gap between the inside edge of the ring and the wheel, you probably have 7” wheels.

These are 15 x 6.5 factory Rallye Wheels with NOS rings to match. They are 2 3/4 to the line where it turns down. The easiest way to tell if a wheel is a 6.5, is to look and see how many holes it has for the center cap screws. I have 3 sets of 15 x 6.5’s and they all only have 3 center cap screw...

Yeah, the axles you have won't work in a pre 73 7 1/4 rearend. Someone in your area may want the whole rearend the axles came out of to convert a slant 6 or 273/318 car to big bolt pattern. I've never tried to sell a 7 1/4, but have been very happy just to give it away to someone who needs it.

@memike 8 1/4, 8 3/4 and car Dana 60’s all have the same size axle tubes, so John’s plates will work. Now…you gotta take up for me when Toolman mike yells at me for commenting in a sale ad! :rofl:

Mike...those are probably the stock brakes. I have an identical one, gears, brakes and all. Came out of an untouched 74 Swinger. :thumbsup:
