Calico did a set of TTI's for me that were originally the old nickel plate finish and turned blue as soon as I installed them. The budget headers of any brand work fine as long as you don't have the front suspension set to be low to the ground. At normal ride height, the tubes that go under the suspension on the drivers side should still be high enough to clear speed bumps.

My headers showed up today, so Autozone must have had at least 1 set in stock!

$841 including tax. It was a wash on the price of the raw ones, then having to take them to Calico to be coated. I would have gotten a better coating job at Calico, but just don't have time to fool with it for a while.

I took my lazy butt to Google and looked....lol. D454's are 3/4 inch tubes, and fit early A's with an Alterkation front suspension. D453's are 5/8's tubes, and fit early A's with stock torsion bar front suspension.

Are you sure those are early A headers? The tubes look a little big. Is there a slip tube on the drivers side header?
