Yeah I have seen those I just can't see spending that kind of money on something that you can get for 60-100 at a swapmeet. The M/T and Holleys go for 30-80 depending on if they have baffles and no cracks (inside corners and around the breather/oil fill holes).

The end studs go into the water jacket on small block heads so I would say tap the hole out to the next size up and use a bigger stud. You may have to drill the hole in the exhaust manifold or header one size bigger as well but it will stop the leak. Helicoils suck!
